Engineering Excellence Since 1930

Through the integration of architecture and technology, van Zelm Heywood & Shadford designs building system infrastructures that improve the quality of life in a way that balances the needs of the individual, society, and the environment. van Zelm’s commitment to sustainability goes beyond designing green buildings for our clients — we employ environmentally friendly practices within our own operations.

At van Zelm, we bring the breadth and depth of technical knowledge and experience embodied in our staff to every project. Engineering design and consultation is our life's work, but at van Zelm, we never forget that it is our client's interests we are dedicated to serve.

van Zelm utilizes Revit MEP 2014 and AutoCAD MEP 2014 with custom content to assist in the creation of efficient and accurate design documentation.
