Magazine, Hartford
Hospital embarked on the C.O.R.E. Project in order to modernize
and improve the facilities of several of its main clinical departments,
which required incorporating state-of-the-art technology into the
complex infrastructure that supports these departments. With such
technology evolving at an increasing rate, constraints imposed
by an urban site, the need to integrate new with existing systems
and equipment, and requirements for functionality, safety and energy
efficiency, the design team faced significant challenges.
The very complex systems that form the functional heart of the
C.O.R.E. project make it possible for the Hospital to provide state-of-the-art
care for its patients. |
