On-call engineer for a 2,850 ton per day, 90 MWe Energy-From-Waste resource recovery steam turbine power station, employing refuse derived fuel technology. 

 

 

Projects included:

  • Steam cycle heat balance performance analysis and planning for revisions to export steam to provide district energy.
  • Industrial ventilation system processing 300,000 scfm of odorous air with 1,000 hp fans, modifications of RDF fired boiler combustion air system, and addition of thermal oxidizers.
  • Odor control system addition of 120,000 scfm of odorous air processing, inclusive of designing a process train for enzymatic deodorant injection and mixing.
  • RDF boiler air heater system modernization.
