We are honored to have served as the MEP engineers on the Amherst College New Science Center which won two awards at the Boston Society of Architects gala last week… an Honors Award for Design Excellence and a Citation for Sustainability Design.  The project is also a previous national AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top 10 Award winner as well!  The New Science Center provides a state-of-the-art facilities and a flexible space to support the college’s science programs and students through the next century while reducing energy usage by 76% compared with a typical research building.  Congrats to the architect, Payette, and the entire project team!
