van Zelm Engineers, a leader providing mechanical and electrical engineering services, announces senior leadership promotions in the wake of continued growth and success.\u00a0 We are proud to recognize these individuals, each an expert and proven leader with success in mentoring and leading high-performing teams.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Eric Fontaine, PE, LEED AP<\/strong>, Vice President and Senior Team Leader, has 20 years of experience in engineering systems design for the built environment. Eric is an accomplished team leader managing highly sustainable, award-winning projects that have attained LEED Gold and Platinum certifications.\u00a0 He has oversight of new design, expansion and renovation of a broad spectrum of building design and campus infrastructure including academic, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, schools and recreational\/athletic facilities.<\/p>\n

Scott Madigan, PE<\/strong>, Vice President and Senior Team Leader, is a 30-year veteran overseeing van Zelm Engineers\u2019 mechanical department for many years while managing select, complex award-winning projects that have energy efficient and sustainable design features and have received LEED Platinum, LBC and Passive House certifications.\u00a0 He has extensive experience in the design of high-performance laboratories, residence halls, dining complexes, etc. for academic projects as well as office, commercial and industrial facilities.<\/p>\n

Steve Perry, PE<\/strong>, Vice President and Senior Team Leader, is an accomplished electrical engineer with over 25 years of experience in engineering systems design for the built environment. Steve has significant experience in electrical design of medium and low voltage power distribution systems for healthcare, industrial, corporate and institutional facilities.\u00a0 He works diligently to ensure each project meets the required goals and sustainability measures, and supports the design staff by providing guidance, quality assurance and hands-on project management.<\/p>\n
