Harvard University Science and Engineering Complex Wins 2023 COTE Top Ten Award

The American Institute of Architects’ COTE Top Ten Awards is the industry’s best-known awards program for sustainable design excellence.

The Harvard University Science and Engineering Complex was one of the ten, having already earned LEED Platinum and Living Building Challenge Materials, Beauty and Equity Petals certifications as well as the SEFA “Lab of the Year” Award. Working in close collaboration with Behnisch Architekten and others, van Zelm provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design on this resilient and sustainable project.  This is van Zelm’s fifth project to win a COTE award.  Congratulations to the entire project team!
