LAZ Parking operates over a million parking spaces across the country, with a brand that traces its roots back through nearly four decades. This new, 34,000 SF headquarters in the Gold Building in Hartford, CT provides a mix of open workspace, business offices and gathering spaces for 220 employees. To support LAZ University, the company’s employee development program, a casual Hub and large training rooms with moveable walls create an expandable space to welcome team members from across the country. Large windows provide panoramic views of the downtown area, with abundant natural daylight throughout the space. Existing data center with redundant cooling and backbone cabling was relocated and energy efficient lighting and controls were installed. The project also reused existing HVAC and power systems where possible to support the renovated spaces.
