The facility is an operating arena for its primary tenant. the Bridgeport Islanders professional AHL hockey team, and hosts numerous other sports, home improvement shows and entertainment events throughout the year.

van Zelm is serving as prime working directly with the City and Construction Manager/Owner’s Representative, KBE Building Corporation, on this project. Scope of work includes replacement of air handling and dehumidification equipment, chillers, and upgrades to fire alarm and smoke evacuation system.
