The Waterbury Arts Magnet School is a public middle/high school located in downtown Waterbury, Connecticut. The school opened in 2004 alongside the newly renovated Palace Theater, to which the school is granted limited access for assemblies and performances.[1] Prominent features of the school include various performance spaces, music labs, and a television studio.

The Waterbury Magnet School for the performing Arts is attached to the theater and encompasses most of the city block. The 175,000 square foot school serves grades 6 through 12 and is designed for approximately 800 students. Academic spaces include classrooms, kitchen, cafeteria, general science rooms, art and graphic art studios, a media center, computer labs, and administrative spaces. The Performing Arts School contains state of the art facilities to enhance learning in every aspect of theater, dance, and choral and instrumental music.
