Earth Day is an annual celebration on April 22 that honors the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect the earth’s natural resources for future generations.  van Zelm is proud to be working on three decarbonization plans and/or their implementation for Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Salem State University and Quinsigamond Community College all in Massachusetts.  The goal is to ensure compliance iwth Executive Order 594 reducing greenhouse gas emissions from onsite fossil fuels by at least 95% by 2050.
