Jean Zangor, PE – Senior Technical Associate

With over 37 years of experience, including 20 at van Zelm, Jean has been promoted to Senior Technical Associate. His expertise in designing complex HVAC systems for challenging environments such as clean rooms and laboratories, along with his focus on sustainable design, has been invaluable to our projects. Jean’s leadership as a lead mechanical engineer and his commitment to mentoring junior staff have set a high standard within our team. van Zelm recognizes two career paths: technical and management. This structure allows professionals to advance based on their expertise and contributions. Senior Technical Associates are recognized for their technical contributions on an office-wide level.

Ed Grafe – Lead Electrical Department Head

Ed has been appointed to Lead Electrical Department Head, marking a significant milestone in his 40-year career at van Zelm. Specializing in the design and implementation of electrical systems across diverse sectors, including healthcare and academic facilities, Ed’s commitment to sustainability and excellence has made a lasting impact.
